LA Lakers Now Taking Advantage
Lakers and Nuggets Just had their 5th game for the conference finals. Lakers now got the advantage having the 3-2 standing. Everyone is expecting for a tough game 6 coming. It could be Lakers’ win or it could bring both teams to a game 7.
Bryant was not able to score more than 30 points for this game, which was a first. He had to change his game plan. He said he felt like the guys were giving him much attention, maybe he could make use of it by acting like sort of the decoy of the team. It worked for them. The Nuggets gave Bryant too much attention while the rest of the guys in Lakers were doing the job.
Odom who was suffering from an injured back did not seem to think of the pain. All he wanted was for the team to win. He said he felt like he was not playing well. He just has to leave his back to the wall and take focus on the game to go for the win.
The first three quarters was kind of close for both teams, it was only at the fourth quarter that Lakers, with Odom, Bryant, and Gasol teaming up, got a big advantage over the Nuggets.
Game 6 will give the Nuggets a home court advantage. The Nuggets are aiming for a win. They shall be bringing back their big guys back on the court. This could be tough for both teams. Shall this be the last or will they need to go back to Los Angeles for game 7?
